Cantilever Racking Run with canopy installed for NMSB

Filstorage has completed the installation of a new run of cantilever racking with a canopy at NMSB’s Builder’s Merchants branch in New Milton, Hampshire.
NMSB is a family-owned business that was founded in 1936, supplying building materials and waste management services via numerous sites across the South.

Following two free site visits by our Business Development Manager for the South West, Martyn Morgan, we were able to gauge NMSB’s requirements and work with them to ensure that we could provide them with exactly what they wanted. After utilising our free design service and a couple of tweaks with the cad designs, we managed to confirm a suitable design that would achieve the clients goal of increasing storage space within the yard and clearing up ground space as well as reducing damage to products that had previously been stored on the ground.

The cantilever racking installed allowed the customer to horizontally store timber products (whilst preventing sagging) upwards whilst allowing easy access for loading with a forklift truck. The addition of a canopy helps to increase further protection from the elements.

The install itself was relatively straightforward with a new flat and level concrete base also installed prior to installation of the cantilever racking.
