Accounts Assistant

Full Time, Permanent: 37.5 hours per week

Monday to Friday

Based to the North of Goole, Filstorage , now in their 30th year of business, are a specialist in warehouse fit out and shop fitting that has an excellent key account base and has experienced strong YOY growth.


  • General Accounts Department responsibilities.
  • Processing of sales invoices & purchase invoices
  • Ensuring the purchase ledger is kept up to date
  • Updating the cash book & reconciling
  • Setting up payments to suppliers etc
  • Credit Control: Liaising with business clients in regards to outstanding invoices due for payment; firm but considerate credit chasing – We have outstanding debt of under 4% and repeat business levels are very high with their clients.
  • Month end duties
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure they are kept up-to-date of payment timescales.
  • Produce accurate invoices.
  • Maintain and update customer records.
  • Other general Administration duties.


The Person

Previous accounts department experience.

Excellent administration and organisation skills.

Strong multitasking skills.

Good time management skills

Ability to communicate with various parties in an effective manner.

Qualified to AAT level 2 standard is advantageous

Marketing Apprentice

An Apprentice is required for a busy, friendly sales office in Eastrington.  The role is structured to form an important part of our day to day successful running of the company and will include a variety of tasks.  We expect the ideal candidate to be well presented as they will regularly greet visitors and also be polite with good communication skills.  Although full training will be given it is advantageous that candidates have good computer knowledge as the majority of work is computer based.

The main duties will include:

Assisting the marketing department with a wide range of tasks as well as some general admin duties icluding: Entering new customer details on the CRM, Processing orders, Typing up small quotes, postal duties including making up literature packs.
