Industrial Pallet Racking 

Pallet racking is a popular heavy-duty storage solution used mainly in warehouses, distribution centres and other storage facilities. It consists of sturdy metal frames with horizontal beams that create bays where pallets are placed and stacked on multiple levels. Pallet racking is a great way to utilise vertical space efficiently. 

Cantilever Racking

Cantilever racking is a storage solution that is specifically designed for storing bulky, long or awkward materials. Typically, cantilever racking is used when traditional pallet racking would not be suitable. Cantilever racking is extremely strong but also incredibly versatile and adaptable for storing things from timber, sheet material and even scrap cars. 

Each rack is manufactured to suit your requirements, arm loadings range from 100kg up to 3000kg per arm with columns available in heights up to 10m. 

Pigeon Hole Racking 

Pigeon hole racking is a storage solution specifically designed for the horizontal storage of longer products such as plastic & copper pipes, uPVC profiles and timber. Pigeon hole racking is a popular choice for longer items as it helps protect the items from bending and sagging. 

Pigeon hole racking comes with vertical dividers to create components within the storage unit. These dividers can be moved once placed to suit your needs. Another reason why pigeon hole racking is so popular is because of the option to put a board over the top level to create a mezzanine floor storage area. 

Vertical Racking

Vertical racking is a storage solution in which long items, like timber and pipes, are stored upright rather than flat. It is extremely effective in utilising space as storage that would normally be wasted. At Filstorage, we supply both single and double-sided vertical racks with each being 4.2 metres high and able to hold lengths up to 6 metres.  

Longspan Racking & Heavy Duty Shelving

Longspan racking is a convenient, heavy-duty storage solution for hand-loaded items. Typically, longspan racking is for products and items that are loaded manually rather than with the use of a forklift. Longspan racking solutions are constructed of metal frames and beams and although they generally hold less than pallet racking, they can be adapted for specific applications and can hold from 400kg to 600kg per level. Longspan racking is an ideal solution for smaller items and stock that need to be accessed regularly, quickly and by hand. 

Stillages 

Stillages are secure and sturdy containers with solid sides or a mesh cage on a steel base. They are designed to make transporting goods easier by enabling large amounts of stock to be moved using a forklift truck. Stillages offer increased efficiency, improved organisation, enhanced safety, versatility and space optimisation. Stillages can be used to store a huge variety of things, some of the most popular uses include:
